Yes, and philosophically, Spags has much more in common with Gunther, and very, very little in common with Robinson. Your entire premise is flawed from the start. But don't let me gatekeep you or anything.

I mean, Spags and Robinson both generally deploy eleven defenders. So I guess there's that.

Arguably, his competition is light on it's best day. I'd give the best shot to Carter though.

He was easily our best NT. Nnadi was bad and shouldn't be on an NFL roster. Dickerson was somehow worse and...shouldn't be on an nfl roster.

There is just no way Danny Shelton is worse than those guys. And Danna did nice work from the interior.

Just run Shelton/Coburn alongside Wharton/Danna.

And hope FAU gets up to speed quickly so you don't need to have Danna out there absorbing 30-40 snaps/gm from the edge.

Hopefully Farrell pans out.

CJ/Coburn/Farrell/Turk could be decent until Charles O comes back.

Forgot all about Farrell - yeah, I still like that move.

Was he a gameday inactive? I never saw him out there.

Looked like Coburn got a ton of push in the preseason games.

Didn’t review the tape obviously, but I watched him specifically several times. He was moving his guy back repeatedly.

Nick Bolton will love the guy.

Honestly, that's what I saw as well and assumed I was missing something. Coburn was our best DT and Shelton would likely be #2.

I assume Nnadi has pics of Red in a bathtub full of cheeseburgers or something.

Dan Sorensen had pics of Spags.

When he left he gave them to Nnadi.

Does anyone know/remember what the cost difference was between Saunders and Nnadi?

The difference in play seemed substantial.

Saunders was a REALLY nice player for us last year and the Saints got him for 3 years 12 million.

I would've signed up for that hardcore. Probably would've done that and then passed on Tranquil.

Oh well.
