The only thing that should realistically keep this close would be Fields having one of those out of left field 'god mode' games where we just can't seem to bring him down.

Small/quick guys used to worry me a lot but McDuffie can just stay in their pocket so well. Then you think "well what about bigger, more physical technicians like Williams or Adams" and I think that's perfect for Sneed.

So at that point I'm left with only guys who are unicorns or maybe just blindingly fast. Hill, Waddle, Smith, Chase....that's pretty much the end of the list.

And Every one of those guys has a complementary part to put pressure on us. Hill/Waddle, Smith/Brown, Chase/Higgins

So those 3 teams can pressure us downfield because they have not only a wealth of weapons, but a single weapon that's pretty well designed to make our lives difficult.

Apart from them? Eh. Maybe if Davis is back in Buffalo you could see Diggs/Davis being ornery but again, I think Sneed on Diggs and McDuffie on Davis is fine.

I think I'd swap the assignments for the Bills... Sneed on Davis, who is bigger and more of a physical downfield guy, but not exceptionally quick or twitchy. Diggs is more of the quick/separation creator that I like McDuffie as a matchup against. Might be a bit of a problem downfield for McDuffie, but the size differential isn't that big.

Hill/Waddle is a scary combo. Have to be able to pressure Tagavailoa to keep them from doing their things.

I don't think the Fins' OL is all that good, but they do a good job getting it out quickly andin rhythm.

Yeah, looking back I think we would have been the #1. I can’t recall which tiebreakers come first, but our conference record would have been 11-1, which is absurd.

Still don’t think we beat NE, even at home. We had Denver’s number that year; the playoff Patriots were a different beast though.

It’s a fun “What If?” but ultimately I’m kind of glad it worked out the way it did. If we change anything up to that point, we may never end up with Mahomes. Plus, all things considered, I think it’s probably better overall that we don’t give Brady any more rings ‘cause if you give him 2015 there is a very real possibility that they threepeat in 14, 15 and 16.

Nah alot of the ones I know actually watch Chiefs. Not just our primetime games. We're a fun team to watch so you can't blame them. I also think part of it is a case of them fantasizing about what could have been if they didn't go after Trubiscuit.

The offense never got in a rhythm against the Jags. Credit to their defense, but a lot of that was self-inflicted and some of it was just bad luck.

I'm expecting we see more explosive plays and better rhythm against the Bears.
