And then he showed up to training camp in DC spending more time acting like a position coach instead of coordinator. If you're an offensive coordinator you have to balance hundreds of plays and script an offense --- you don't have time to go after every swinging dick on the offense that's one step off or ant **** the offensive line...That's what a POSITION COACH does. I'm not a dishonest person so I can state matter of fact that he had an effective game plan against this donkey dick defense, but the week before he looked lost. He was calling dive plays and went ultra conservative against the worst team in football...They were lucky to survive. So let's just see in October where this guy stands. I may be wrong. He might be an offensive savant that wants to play hard ass position-coach on the side.

If you're willing to blame EB for the AFC Championship game loss to the Bengals, are you also willing to give him credit for making Super Bowl appearances in 3 of the last 4 years? And winning 2?

Or maybe you're saying the Chiefs won those championships IN SPITE of EB, in which case, our offense should be even better now that he's gone, right?

EB was massively important to our losses, but he was just sorta there for all of the wins.

For some reason, there are a few posters who refuse to give him zero credit for the success and a bunch of the blame for the failures.

And now, yes, with a small sample size, some are dismissing his initial success due to playing the Donks.

Again, it's not like he's got a smart veteran at QB. Or a talented young guy. He has Sam ****ing Howell.

Thinking of pulling the trigger for TNF Commanders vs. Bears. But **** don't know if I want to be out that late. I'm definitely getting old.

Glad he's doing well so far. I largely despise the other teams in that division, so it would be nice to see Washington **** with them a bit.

Outside of that, I don't really care. Best of luck to him unless they're playing us.

Is it a coincidence that Bienemy has the Commanders O looking ready for the season and our O is not looking like it was ready for the season?

I wouldn't go that far. WAS has had several procedural errors, false starts, 3-and-outs, and so forth.

But they've flashed actual competence as well. Even put together a mostly capable half in their most recent game. According to WAS fans, EB has managed to get the Commanders to execute a decent screen game, quick hits, and a decent 4-minute offense.

WAS is going through their own growing pains for sure. But they appear to be moving in the right direction, which they definitely were without direction last year.

I've always been an E.B. fan. Proud to say I was never part of the mob. Glad to see the early returns are encouriging in Washington. IMO, his presence has been missed in KC.
