They reportedly tried to get Chad Henne and he declined. So I don't see how they haven't thought about/explored options like Ryan, Rivers, etc.

The trade makes a lot of sense.

Although some wild cards… what if rodgers is able to come back and genuinely wants to?

Also… who’s going to protect him? Feel like they should kick the tires on a more mobile option like jacoby brissett who you can pick up for way less draft capital. That defense is good enough that adequate will do.

I’d have to think their OL is a big issue there. But then, I don’t know why they’d entertain cousins either if that’s the case.

That's fair. It's a tough Pill to swallow for that fan base though to give up at this stage and that's why I don't think they're doing it imminently. They were 11-0 in one-score games last year and are 0-3 in the same this year. It's not like they're bereft of talent.

Let's hope if the trade happens it's a week from now so we get to face Zach Wilson AND Nick Mullens.
