Sean Payton

Donks just let the fish put 70 up on them. How happy is Nathaniel Hackett right now?

Amazing what happens to a "great" coach when he doesn't have his hall of fame QB to bail him out.

Yea, you aren't just tanking for the 1st pick in round 1.

The Broncos will basically end up trading 2 1st rounders for Payton if they end up with the #1 overall pick.

New Orleans may be paying attention to Denver's season more than their own, from here on out.

It's possible, but you don't give up 70 points just because you're tanking. That's the kind of thing that can wreck a defensive unit beyond repair.

He had to of known how shitty his team would be too right? He had already been the coach for a while. Seems like maybe something he would say before he got the job last year before he's seen the team. How would he be so confident with such a shit squad?

In the early games thread, I said the D had given up by the second quarter. The fins stole their will to live

I believe it would need to be after the 2024 season for him to be released from his Saints contract, but yes, the trade was stupid.

Yeah I was going to say the weather should help us. Unless Miami gets the damn 1 seed.
I think Spags and this defense can slow them down though. They aren't scoring 70 on that unit.

I love this.

“One year ago, Broncos head coach Sean Payton was a Fox Sports analyst who went out of his way to mention that he thought Tua Tagovailoa would get benched for Teddy Bridgewater at some point in the season.”
