Offensive Tackles

I'm not going to overreact as it's only been 2 games but boy has their play has been meh at best. I'm not too worried about Taylor as I am Smith who looked like a declining player in Tampa. Everyone says it was because he was injured and maybe he still is but this has to get better if we're going to repeat as champs

And you know why that flag never gets thrown? Because it's a DAMN difficult thing to spot 99.9% of the time. And that was certainly the case here.

This is an apology letter waiting to happen.

“victim blame”. Could you be anymore dramatic, you twat?

He will be an issue as long as he continues to line up illegally, ESPECIALLY when he knows he’s under a microscope. Is it fair? No, but fair’s got nothing to do with it. You’d think a 30-something year old man would have learned that by now.

As far as analogies go, it's a hell of a lot better than "this reminds me of that holding penalty..."

Which seemed to be militantly refusing to see the point...

It's obviously akin to victim blaming. I didn't use the word victim to be dramatic. I'm entirely aware that this is just a game, but this IS a man's career, and your response to him blatantly being treated unfairly is to suck it up and play under a different set of rules than all the other guys at his position?

You're being unbelievably ****ing obtuse.

It's not about being under a microscope. He was under a microscope for the first 2 weeks, Andy and the staff obviously worked with him to make adjustment, and now he's just flat out being unfairly targeted to the point that two guys like Andy and Pat made it a point in their postgame PC to call it out.

Not just his.

That's 50 yards and a score wiped off MVS's ledger. And if they keep this up, it won't end there.

The Chiefs offense is more than just Jawaan Taylor and when the officials make it a point to **** with him, they're screwing it up for a whole bunch of guys that need this offense to work for their careers to continue to build.

It's just as big a pile of unmitigated bullshit as I've seen in this league and it still just gobsmacks me that we really have people saying "tough noogies - just deal with it..."

Wiped off a 50 yard TD from the Mahomes MVP campaign as well. He was already behind the 8-ball, in part from the bullshit Pick 6 with Toney. But the bigger concern in my view is that this could be a problem in Playoff games. I hate that it was a former Bengals a-hole who started this on national TV. Meanwhile the Bengals entire OL can line up incorrectly with no flag, lol

The league should change the rule to make the OT helmet be w/in 1 or 1.5 yards behind the LOS, instead of the usual vague rule that can a ref can pull outta their pocket any time they want.

As far as I can tell nobody has thrown a viable idea around short of staylor inevitably wanting to Howard Hamlin Goodell bc everything else makes you a pussy.

But hey we can pretend Clark will put his Mark Cuban hat on and start doing things his history shows he'd never do.

WTF?

I'm simply defending Taylor at this point. That's it.

People like you and Virus had a point before week 3.

Now, it's incredibly obvious to anybody that isn't ****ing reeruned that he's being unfairly targeted, while everybody else gets to do the same shit he was doing the first couple weeks (and last year).

The only solution I can think of is somebody in the national media coming to his defense and calling out the hypocrisy.
