Spags has them playing extremely well so far. In spite of the fact that three of the offenses they played were NYJ, CHI and DEN, three of the worst offenses in the league, Spags' defense has been really good. Definitely top-10, probably inside top-6 at this point.

By yards they’re #5 overall, #5 against the pass, and #12 against the run.

I do believe we have a very good defense, but so far our schedule has been favorable to a statistically good scoring D. Bears, Broncos and Jets are terrible on offense.

It's definitely improved from years past, but their first real test against an actual good passing QB (other than arguably Trevor Lawrence) will be next week. Herbert is a huge step up.

Last year the Lions had a better offense than the Chargers. I get that week's 1-3 are usually a bit sloppy but it won't be our first test.

Hell, this one will be 5x easier with Jones and Kelce playing...

Historically it's always been Mike Williams who's torched us on defense. W/o him in the mix for Herbie to throw jump balls to....

Love that you gotta throw in that bullshit about playing 3 bad offenses. Find a team that hasn't played against bad offenses. Also, Broncos are now 19th in ppg, but that's after we held them to 8. Before last night they were at 24.2 ppg which would be top 10 in the league. Chicago is 11th in ppg right now.

This is how the teams we played rank on offense in ppg.

Lions - 4th
Jags - 21st
Bears - 11th
Jets - 24th
Vikings - 15th
Donks - 19th

None of those teams are the worst offense in the league.
