I don’t understand how something like that would even be permissible.
Isn’t that just straight up circumventing the salary cap? Like why doesn’t he get married and demand that his wife be put on staff at 10mm/yr as an assistant QBs coach? |

I'd think it would have to be a cash distribution per the CBA. Then they'd have to exchange that for the equity shares.
