I'm not going to overreact as it's only been 2 games but boy has their play has been meh at best. I'm not too worried about Taylor as I am Smith who looked like a declining player in Tampa. Everyone says it was because he was injured and maybe he still is but this has to get better if we're going to repeat as champs

I always feel just a twinge of sorrow for people when i see them have such glee, knowing that when the results come in, they are going to be sorely disappointed. I'm compassionate like that. Once, when i was a very young pup, my dad and i were sitting around drinking some coke. He knocked his over and ended up spilling quite a bit of it and i instantly felt so bad for him, that he had spilled almost all of his coke, i offered him mine. Imagine a 6/7 year old kid feeling bad for an adult over something like that. He could have easily walked back in the store and gotten a case of cokes.

Anyway...after the Bengals dispatch the Chiefs and you are sitting there in a rage, debating the meaning of life and why the ****ing Chiefs just CAN'T seem to get over the Bengals hump, somewhere deep, behind that compassionate guy is going to be an evil, sadistic son-of-a-bitch with a shit-eating grin that is going to be reveling in your misery.

Even if the Bengals do happen to win (which they wont) there won't be any rage from me. You see, we're only worried about postseason wins around these parts. I'll sit back and watch highlights of our two glorious Super Bowl victories the past four years and be just fine.

I'd say we got over that Bengals hump last year when we won the SB, but there's a possibility I am in fact incorrect.

Well I mean we would have had to beat them in the playoffs at the very least, AFC Championship would have definitely taken the monkey off our backs. Oh wait...

At least they still have that early regular season victory to gloat about. Who needs Super Bowls when you can have regular season wins?

Imma assume you don't have a 5-7 year old kid.

Because if you did, you wouldn't have to 'imagine' that for a minute. That's pretty much peak empathy. Little kids take everyone's pain pretty personally at that age. In my experience, little boys especially.

Then life sets to beating it out of them for the next 80 years or so...
