Lost in the AFC champ game in 20, then the 13 second game in 21.

I'd say that's fairly close?

They got smoked in the only championship game they've been to. I guess if you wanna consider that close you can.

The Bengals had their best shot in 2021 against the Rams and failed as well.

They may make it back but it’ll take even more luck now that they’ve got their QBs on mega deals.

Bengals are doing ok with the cap.

Right, because Burrow’s new deal won’t kick in for another couple years.

Same for the Ravens, Chargers and Eagles as you’ll note. You’ll also have to contend with the Jaguars, Texans, and 49ers who have good QBs on rookie deals.

They're kinda getting to the place the Chiefs are in terms of, alot of their talent they've drafted is needing paid, and now they're winning and drafting late and it's hard to replace said talent.

They look pretty slow to me.

AFC is gonna be tough on everyone for the next 5 years, at least. A lot of cannibalism that will rob some teams of championships while the NFC has a much easier road.

It's why it's so maddening to me to see every year in the draft AFC teams going all in to get the most talented QBs. Meanwhile every time the NFC actually tries that they screw it up. Cannot believe that the Texans were able to draft Stroud with the SECOND freaking pick. Fully expect the same type of nonsense next year and somehow Caleb Williams will wind up in the AFC.

Tbis is why rfaulk rocks! He’s already got many of the board nuances down perfectly.

He’ll probably bust with the Giants!

And now we've added Stroud. Couldn't he have gone to the NFC?

You're about to make Chase the highest paid WR. That's $31 million APY.

Next year you're likely allocating over $40 million of your cap, over 20% of your cap in general, to only 2 players.

Things will get harder for you soon enough
