3. Von Miller is a HOF player right now as is Aaron Donald. Both signed huge contracts after 30 and both have failed to live up to them. Now who currently can you point to as a comparable to show that Jones won’t drop off and make his contract a bad one?
4. Again I am for keeping Jones as I have said time after time despite you overlooking it. I won’t do it for $30+ million a year. If you think Jones will sign another one year deal then you play far too many video games.
5. I never said over 30 players can’t be here and using Kelce/Thuney as examples shows the silliness of your argument. They are both signed. Jones is not beyond this year. Thuney plays a position that ages well. Jones does not. Kelce is on track to be one of if not the greatest TE ever and he also plays a position that ages well AND is taking well below market value. Jones, while good is not a HOF player right now, nor will he ever be considered one of the greatest ever at his position.
6. Once again you infer statements from me that I never said to validate your narrative. It’s sad really, but as always you do you. My point about you never being right continues and with each and every post of yours you continue to validate it. Great job. Looking forward to your inevitable downvote. You might be best served hanging out in your echo chamber in the DC where you can get validation for your opinions.

You just said I am "playing Madden" because I wanted to extend one HOF player for another year or two who is not 30.

Maybe next time just make a football point and don't create stupid rules because if I am "playing Madden" for extending a player that is currently under 30, what the hell is Veach doing paying Kelce and Thuney?

Von Miller contract that is appropriate would not be Buffalo but the Rams before that. They won the SB because of signing him. Buffalo deal was bad and not similar to extending Jones for another year or two.

Come up with better comps.

That is why I thought they were trying to get up to draft Anton Harrison in this last draft. Rookie deals at prime positions.

Honestly the best thing with Thuney is to bite the bullet next year and see about releasing him in 2025. I don’t think kicking the can down the road is wise.

Wanya Morris, I hope they have better luck with him than the other tackles they have drafted. It would be nice. It is either that or we move Taylor to LT and Morris to RT. I never like moving players when they have been successful. Far too often you make two places weak instead of one strong and one weak.

Two more years here he is in.

He is a HOF caliber player and Elite in a way that no one else on the defense is.

He also happens to be our best pass-rusher so if Jones wants to walk they should just take the money for him and let Sneed walk too and then just ensure the offense is elite.

We already won 2 SB's with elite offense and a good enough defense so that formula works here.

Leave Taylor at RT

Morris ideally is really good but even if he’s just a league average LT, at that price point it’s huge value.

I would rather them let Sneed walk anyway. We have Nazeeh Johnson coming back next year. BV has proven to be able to draft good CB talent late in the draft. We are also more likely to get a better comp pick.

you really do read only what you want. I said he is not a HOF and even gave you a reference. I asked you for one and you have nothing, hence why you ignored that. Jones is under 30 right now, not next year. The irony is you are expecting better comps without actually coming up with any when I asked because yet again you have nothing. Anyways I am done discussing this with you as I feel like I am talking football with someone who only roots for a team because their uniform is pretty. Downvote away.

I am fine with that if it works out. Don't need an LT worse than Orlando Brown though.

Honestly tag and trade Sneed. He will have a lot of value based on his age/versatility.

Don't really need a DE with Karlaftis, Omenihu, FAU, and hopefully Thompson. But we might get a Christian Wilkinson and a WR along with Gay or some of the other pieces that are FA or their equivalent in replacements.
