I'd be fine with keeping the Chiefs name but converting all of our imagery to Fire Department Chiefs.

The arrowhead becomes an ax head, the chop stands pat, the colors can obviously remain the same.

Just no more Native American imagery.

Now, that's not going to happen in my lifetime because nothing makes grown men more upset than changes to cartoon mascots, but I'd support those changes.

For now.

GEHA's going to offer a gajillion dollars to change the name. Hunt's not immune to easy paydays.

I’d rather rebrand entirely at that point.

Keep the red and focus more on white and/black as the secondary color. Yellow can remain only as a not-often-used tertiary color.

I can’t remember all of the options we had in our name change tournament we held here on CP a few years back but I thought the Monarchs was cool and had some historical significance for KC. Kansas City Kings also works, though it’s not very imaginative.

Personally I welcome our new billionaire overlords.

Also, I’m a big fan of alliteration.

My guess is that they've already had that procedure done

I too, am sick and tired of being subject to Native American imagery. They lost and it’s time we finally get rid of any semblance of their culture.
