PHI, if the SB was next week. Healthy, and on a roll like SF has been for 3-4 games now, I don't think we could keep up. PHI is still struggling to figure out who they are on offense. And their secondary/LBs aren't on the same level as SF. Significantly inferior.

But OTOH if you get a lead on SF they aren't coming back.

KC, minus self inflicted wounds, could and should beat either of them 7/10 times.

Reek is having a great year. Helps when defense continually try to single cover him, lol. He's my 2nd choice right now.


CMC though is more 'valuable,' imo. He's the best pure RB, best receiving RB, best pass-pro RB, and highest scoring player, by a lot. And he's scored in every game but one this season, on pace for over 20 TDs.

We'd have to score a lot early. Not sure how we do that with just Travis and Rice as viable receivers. And somehow stop CMC, Aiyuk, Deebo and Kittle in the process.

It'd have to be a big enough lead to take away their running game. And it would have to be late in the game. A 10-point lead early in the first half isn't going to force Shannahan to change how he calls his offense. And I doubt we win 7/10.

Philly's offense not what it was last year.

Steichen was a huge loss as a play caller.


I think 49ers are stacked on paper. Just comes down to whether we could get to Purdy before he got it to those playmakers that SF has everywhere.
