the raiders? the patriots? the chargers? jake browning? RETCH

would rather not see the entire playoffs like that
The way the Chiefs are playing now, I would not be the least bit surprised if they dropped 1 of their last 4.

The thing people seem to forget, about half the years thru this run they've been in similar spots as this.

6-4 etc.

It's not all been just run thru the regular season.

But yeah, it's time to get their shit together.

And by the context of your post, I wouldn't be a bit surprised your transition surgery is Tuesday

True. But the offense has never been this broken before. It's felt different all year. Does not feel like the "Redian Run" is coming this season.

2021 was basically identical.

2019 had the stretch of shit play in the middle with a hobbled Mahomes.

True. But I bet if u were to go back and look at the numbers, the offense was never this bad this late in the season. Mahomes has 22 TD's and 10 picks and u gotta add the WR's stats to get anywhere near 1000 yards.

While I have doubted the Chiefs, the coaches and the players at times; one thing I won't doubt is Patrick Mahomes II. If anyone has shown that they can thrive in times of adversity, he has.

Some people wilt under pressure and others thrive on it.

Whatever happens; it's gonna be a wild ride to the finish. Let's just enjoy the ride for what it is; entertainment. I find myself getting upset and looking for things to go wrong, it's time to appreciate the good things because human nature seems to want to focus on the negatives and ignore the positives.

8 wins, 4 losses. And all we talk about is the losses. I'm chosing to work on being different and just enjoy the entertainment of grown men running around with a funny shaped ball smashing into each other.

Yep, get us to the playoffs and let instinct take over. 5 AFC Champtionship games doesn't happen by accident. That's when the games truly matter.

Yes, all roads lead back to Tyreek Hill.

I feel like the car has been the the shop for 13 weeks now.
Usually starts and runs great then often sputters and dies.
Shop says they know what's wrong, but they still haven't fixed it.
Pretty sure it can make it home - but dang! Ran great before the oil change and tune-up at the end of last year.

I don't think people realize how likely it is for this team to get back to the championship game this year.

If the playoffs started today you'd have a Joe Flacco Browns offense, rookie Stroud with no playoff experience, Gardner Minshew Colts, Jags who are overrated as hell, the Dolphins who get anally raped by teams that aren't bad and the Ravens.

The AFC has never been weaker than this year. I cannot remember a year when it was this weak.

I'd be more worried I think if we'd just been getting outclassed.

Every loss has been them doing stupid shit. You gotta think eventually they'll stop doing that.

That seems to be what people are missing in the big picture. Are the Chiefs having a down year by their standards? Sure, but so is everybody else. This thing is completely wide open. If they get their shit together it could be the easiest playoff run of the entire Mahomes era. There is absolutely no truly scary team out there, especially if we get the #1 seed and they have to come to Arrowhead.

The Ravens are a hell of a lot scarier than people are letting on.

Their defense is better than ours, by a significant margin. So is their running game.
