Who do we want to play next?

What's the easiest path to the AFC Championship Game, Houston at home or Buffalo on the road? Who is everyone rooting for tomorrow (or Tuesday if delayed again)? I would do a poll but too computer illiterate to set it up.

This is a good point. If we get Houston next week then Baltimore is highly likely the week after.

It's hard to be THAT scared of the Texans just because of their shit schedule doesn't really tell much of a story.... they beat two playoff teams all regular season and they're the two worst. And not to take away from the complete dismantling of the Browns, but the Browns clearly weren't as good as people thought on defense and Flacco did backup QB things.

OTOH, the game obviously wasn't too big for Stroud (helped by receivers running college wide open).

And the Bills SHOULD be pretty scary, but obviously have their issues.

So...... I don't ****ing know.

If it was:

Team A: made the playoffs 5 years in a row including an AFCCG, star quarterback, and playing at home

Team B: rookie QB playing at Arrowhead for the first time on a team that went 10-7 following a 3-13-1 season

....it's not even a discussion. This year is ****ing weird though and I'm leaning Bills in terms of match up, but Texans in terms of wanting more home games. I'd also love to see Stroud versus this defense.... is this defense seriously legit? Is Stroud for real? Are both true?

This is the ideal path,

But if Texans get to AFC champ game in 1st year, we need to start prepping for our new AFC challenger.

The Texans have like 80 Million they can spend in FA this coming year. They are about to spend

I like the Bills on short rest. I'd bet Josh's butt puckers just a little when he sees the Chiefs , just wish everyone could wear #13 in tribute to the 13 second drive.

I want bad weather no matter what. Mahomes is fully capable of dealing with it. This also helps even out the WR/TE drop problem with the Chiefs. We saw plenty of drops from Miami last night. KC drops the ball in warm weather, so it’s good to see the other teams drop the ball in bad weather.

Not sure the other QB’s are very good with the bad weather games. Josh Allen wasn’t good in the snow game loss to the Bengals last year. Also lost a game in Bufffalo to Patriots where Mac Jones threw only 1 pass. Wind was blowing 50 mph and Belichick ran the ball on 99% of the snaps.

Would rather play the AFCC game at home. Go beat the Bills in the own house.

The home game sounds better. No offense to Houston, but if we can't beat them, we're not SB contenders anyway. Their defense is average. Their offense is great but the Chiefs defense can match them in personnel.

Buffalo has beaten the Chiefs 3 of the last 4 games. The only loss was that 13 second collapse. Allen always comes to play against KC. I can see the argument for Buffalo because they'd have less rest but I still prefer Houston.

**** it….let’s invade whatever the Bills’ stadium is called and end their season a third time. Along the way, we’ll pelt some table jumpers with frozen dildos and live stream them fingering their girlfriends’ buttholes.

I think it matters (at least some years) in terms of not wanting to play the best available team every round.

2021 and needing to beat both the Bills and Bengals.
2022, Bills/Bengals play each other, so the Chiefs only had to play one of them.

Or in other words, there's usually more than one SB worthy team per conference and it's tough for any team to go through them all.
