I posted on that forum for a while. It was fun (although a cesspool), but they were obsessed with thinking that I was another Bills fan who had posted there years ago, because we share a first name. Nothing could convince them that I wasn’t. Good times though.

Im surprised how confident they are, just because they were very doom and gloom a couple weeks ago. I guess a win over the Dolphins gave them a boost of intense hope.

Bills fans deep down must not be feeling too good about this game. Normally there is at least a few in these threads here.

Hey, those guys are busy greasing up their dildos for the game. You have to have the industrial strength ones to hold up in weather like this!

I mean the Raiders loss did happen and it sucked. The reality is that we as fans recognize this Chiefs teams limitations compared to previous years, but are confident we will always have a chance because of Patrick Mahomes. And even then I could totally see us losing if we fail to contain Allen and Cook, or if we shoot ourselves in the foot like we always have. But the Chiefs look good, Mahomes is QB and Andy Reid is HC. Hard not to be confident in that.

We're like every other message board, including TBD... meltdown after losses, confident after wins. Many fans are prisoners of the moment to some extent, or a large extent.

The Raiders loss was special in that it was late season, when the Chiefs are usually getting their shit together... and of course was an especially awful loss that seriously could have and should have been like 7-6 in the 4th quarter. It went far beyond normal off day regular season loss.

These Chiefs getting caught with their pants down in December is just unusual. Our only wins past that game were against the Bengals and their backup QB and Tua in -8 degree weather. Its entirely possible our winning strategy won't win against better teams. If there's ever a time for the Bills to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, its against this team.

I just can't bet against Mahomes, even this year.

The road “underdog” is the team that is hitting their stride and playing with the most confidence they’ve had all year. While Buffalo, albeit for different reasons than last year, looks damn close to hitting E on the fuel tank. How many weeks in a row can you emotionally get up for what amounts to a playoff game? And this week, all the Chiefs history stacks on top of that?

A Bills win is certainly possible, but from the Chiefs perspective, I think next week will be perceived as a bigger challenge and that’s regardless of who comes out of Baltimore Saturday.
Damn dude, great to have you back! You've been missed!

Thanks Johnny - and everyone else for the warm welcome. And if I left anyone on a bad note, I do apologize for any bullshit I gave. A lot's changed and I'm better for it.

Let 'em know, all of them who might be lurking and thinking about if they should dip a toe or two back into this hellacious pool - It is time. Sorry about your damn luck, Buffalo.
