2. Kadarius Toney had a huge punt return in the 2nd half of the Super Bowl. Indoor stadium helps the situation, but it’s still a risky play. Considering the team was down 10 points at halftime, they could not afford any kind of turnover mistakes in that game. He made a clean catch and a phenomenal run to help setup a very short TD drive.
And those are examples of why I trust the coaching staff to make the right decisions when it counts.

Stop Allen from extending drives with his legs - and punish him when he doesnt slide.

There is no chance in hell Bernard plays. McDermott is being positive about his injury as to not discourage the rest of the team. When you are down key players in a game like this, that can have a ripple effect in the psyche of your players.

He's struggling in the maelstrom where there's a lot going on and he's thinking instead of reacting so he's !@#$ing up.

But hell, they seem to have found a new normal that's worked a bit better of late. So if they decide they're rolling with the roster as it was last week, I can live with that as well.
I wouldn't mind seeing Toney on some of the deep throws that Hardman wasted last weekend. He's supposed to be a speedster. At the very least you expect a WR to make an effort and dive out for a throw. He should be playing with a chip on his shoulder.

Easier said than done. Allen is 6'5 240 lbs. He's the size of a Kelce or Gonzalez. Not a lot of DBs want to step in front of him and he's heavier than most LBs. He will eventually take one hit too many but he's fearless.

If Baltimore shits the bed and loses Saturday we will know beforehand if a Buffalo win gives us yet another AFC home championship game. That would really fire the guys up even more.

I was under the impression that you aren't allowed to practice when you are under the concussion protocol. So how can he be limited?
No way would he be ready and clear protocol in 5 days.

It helps when the refs give you the Brady soft treatment. Cam Newton was nowhere near as protected as Allen.

I believe players in the protocol are allowed to participate in no contact/walkthrough type of stuff.

I'm assuming that might be equal incentive for both teams.

True, but you still rarely see a guy listed as limited 2 days after a concussion.

It's his second concussion of the year, and the 4th of his career. Coming off a short week, he should be a long shot to play, but somehow he will.

That’s a ton of big time contributors not practicing.

I’m feeling better and better about our chances in this one to not only win, but send a message to Baltimore or Houston in the way we win.
