Yep. Not a featured RB1, but a contributor. Solid #2 RB, reliable pass blocking and good receiver out of the backfield. Definitely need to bring him back (on a reasonable contract) if McKinnon retires.

I still can't figure out why Chief Fans wanted to "cut" him. It's as though folks somehow can't comprehend a cost-controlled asset. It's probably the same reeruns that want to cut Skyy Moore as well, as though he can't similarly improve.

Because outside of his first year he has been awful. Yes he was injured some but when he played last year he was really bad. There is a reason why the Chiefs didn't pick up his 5th year option.

I give him props for definitely putting on some weight and he is now running like he should have been.

He wasn't healthy and didn't have any vision. It felt like he was only out there to pass block.

I did hate on him last year though, and that was probably unwarranted since he was decently productive.

This year, he's finally carved out a niche for himself. Turn into a bowling ball and dare people to tackle him.

The guy has made legit important plays this season.

I think at the time it had more to do with Reid stubbornly feeding him the ball and him sucking shit and stalling drives.

with some people you gotta earn the respect on the field. Other people they just have to get drafted for that respect.

But he's now earned some respect as a backup because he's going out there and playing well now.

Skipping the parade last year had bad optics but I bet it was actually really healthy for him and the team. Like maybe getting that space after a frustrating year helped him be able to come back and figure out how to fit back in?

Clyde has really stepped up ever since McKinnon went down. It’s been a big part of the offense turning things around. As others have said, I’d gladly take him back on a 2 or 3 year deal for low $. He’s been dependable and effective in this role.

When Pacheco went out for his breather, I was perfectly fine with the idea of him getting the carry on 1st and goal but no we got a Hardman sweep.
