Orlovsky is an even dumber analyst than he was a player.

Orlovsky seems a bit bipolar. He has, at various times, called Mahomes, Burrow and several others: "the best QB of all time." He also seems like a bandwagon guy...whichever QB currently has the hot hand is the best of all time. I might have cut him some slack on this one because he'll be singing the praises of PM II after the Chiefs win the AFCCG & after the Chiefs win the SB.. but he did say that JA was the best player on the field.... So no, F U Orlosky. Eat a bag of Buffalo dildos.

I happen to be caucasian myself but there is a racial tone in Orlovsky's "analysis" when he is talking about the great QBs of the game. He gloats about Burrow as being the best "pure" QB in the game (whatever the f... that means), but with Mahomes, he rarely speaks of him in such gloating terms. Maybe because he is partly black? That's the insinuation he gives when he opens his dumb mouth.

No doubt Pete Carroll's pass play interception in the SB against the Patriots after watching Lynch rape the Patriots defense all game and especially the last drive down to the 1 yd line with 20 seconds to go and 1 timeout and Pete allows for a pass play to be called ????

There are a number of talking heads who jumped on the Josh Allen- Bills train. Despite the Chiefs fumbling into the end zone, despite Mahomes miss on two TD throws on the same drive, despite Connor not just falling on the football, the Chiefs still came out the winners. The talking heads who hitched their wagon are in full throttle damage control.

This is what happens when you write the Chiefs off in the regular season because you're ready to crown someone else. We even had a number of cowards on this board.

We need to bump the thread that popped up after we lost to the Raiders on Christmas Day. It was "Trust your eyes and not your heart" or something like that. On the first page you'll see I said 'all that matters is what happens in the Playoffs.' People actually DISLIKED my post. I know we still have work to do but a lot of people wrote this team off from outside the Chiefs Kingdom and some from within as well.

Mecole getting the ball on the two when you have Pacheco and Clyde on a tear. However, that didn't lose the game so it's in a different category.

In fact, as I remember it, CP went semi-nuts disagreeing with their take. And I'm pretty sure they had one for him this season as well, and again, I don't remember CP touting NGS as the end-all/be-all of statistical analysis.

I think it's more than fair to say that Josh didn't have a great day throwing the ball deep. But I also think it's fair to say that his receivers shat their pants when Josh did deliver dimes that hit them in the hands/biceps.

I mean, he threw them three very catchable balls that none of his receivers secured, two of which hit these guys right in the hands. That's on the receivers, not Allen, imo. Catch the effing ball, that's your mfing job, especially when it hits you right in the hands.

edit: The commentary from Dan and Clark was great. Love listening to those guys talk football. Well, most of the time. Until they start just yelling at each other. But they're way better than Stephen A.'s show most of the time.

I've been there with you. The "not going to sniff the playoffs" crowd think every game should be a 45-0 Chiefs win or something is "wrong." As I've maintained from the outset, I don't really care about the regular season, at all, as long as we make the tournament. Once we're in, I like our chances against anyone, regardless of the regular season.

These same apologists were missing when Mahomes/the WR's/Team were struggling. He may not be who we thought he was, the downside of his career is already here etc. etc.
