Lamar had more total yards last week against the Texans than Mahomes did against the Bills

Lamar was 21 years old in his first playoff game during his rookie season when he took over halfway through the year. If you want to hold that against him them knock yourself out. Since then, he's 2-2 in the playoffs. He has won two out of his last three playoff games with two out of those three being on the road. Dude, either you've done it, or you haven't. Maybe Lamar will prove to be an excellent QB in the playoffs, maybe he won't, but he sure as hell hasn't proven anything yet. I've said time and again in this thread that Patrick Mahomes is the man. And Lamar has work to do. I'll chalk it up to a misunderstanding, but I wasn't saying what you're saying I'm saying. I was simply correcting the tired trope that passing yards are the only metric worth looking at. The post I was responding to was making a point that Lamar didn't throw for enough yards while he literally out-gained Mahomes overall.

The glazing is insane. Obsessing over a guy like this biases you to the point that you can't see what's right in front of you. If you don't recognize the brilliance of Lamar Jackson because you're so consumed with fluffing Mahomes, that's your loss. Lamar is the only player ever to win the Heisman and the MVP twice. He is revolutionizing the game in many ways. Yes, you are the champs and you deserve all of the respect like I've said dozens of times. But there's a whole wide world out there beyond your guy.

This will only be the third time (with Patrick), should the Chiefs lose on Sunday. We already know that this was a down year, we are playing with house money. Our floor is the AFCCG, that is your best with Lamar... Just stop trying to equate Patrick with Lamar...
