Your numbers are, well, wrong.

Kelce had 93 receptions for 984 and 5 TDs in 15 games.

Andrews did indeed have the numbers you quote.

If you pace those rates, Kelce averaged more catches and yards per game than Andrews.Andrews did have more touchdowns, though, so, congrats I guess?

Kelce played 15 games, n00b.

C P/G - 4.5 / 6.2
Y P/G - 54.4 / 65.6
TD P/G - 0.6 / 0.33

Now if you want to add his playoff games to get to 17...

6.17 / 66.4 / 0.41

Sit down, n00b.

You mean the guy who sat out a game 16 yds shy of elevating his existing record of seasons w/1k yds?

Or the most TD's in the playoffs?

You tell me.

What's with guys over the last couple of weeks just making up 'stats' from whole cloth?

You guys know FootballReference is a thing, right? And that there's no Jeopardy buzzers here - you don't HAVE to post as quickly as you can. You can look these things up and THEN run your mouth.

You'll look a lot less stupid that way.

Oh shit, one extra day of rest for the Ravens?!

If only the Chiefs had experience playing with a rest deficit… oh wait, see every Chiefs game in the month of December.

Lamar's injury was a much debated topic in Baltimore last year. There are many that thought he could and should have played regardless of if he was 100% Personally I was in the other camp that thought he wasn't well enough to play but he would have played had he thought he could.

Does Lamar “work at the highest levels”?

Six years into his career and he has less playoff wins as a starting QB than Baker Mayfield.

And having watched Mahomes for several years and *checks calendar* it's 2024 and not 1992, we aren’t bowing down in front of someone who's now thrown for 3k yards twice in their career.

Grunhard was talking about using a similar plan via the Bills. DL doesn't all rush. Basically create a wall with gap integrity to make Lamar sit in the pocket while having 6 defenders defending the pass.

Not sure how I feel about that

I’m not too worried about the extra day of rest for them but I am annoyed that our defense played damn near 80 snaps in Buffalo. I’m not going to bother checking into how many snaps the Ravens D played but I’m assuming it was a lot less.

This Ravens defense is excellent in the red zone, and we know the Chiefs this year have kicked a few too many field goals. That's a strength on a weakness to keep an eye on.

But really, if the focus issues are cleaned up, and we're now dealing with a team that's avoiding dumb penalties and drops, I'd expect the red zone offense to return to an elite level.

The FLOOR for a Mahomes-QB'd season is losing in OT of the AFC championship game.

Chiefs fans have seen Mahomes elevate his own roster over more "complete" teams with less at QB time and again. They have seen him win healthy, they have seen him win injured. They have seen him win lighting up opposing teams with the passing game. They have seen him lighting up opposing teams with clutch play after clutch.

They won the Super Bowl against two teams that were "stacked" and more complete and better than KC, with indomitable defenses that were purported to be capable of shutting Mahomes down. He faced one of them with a badly sprained ankle that he re-sprained in the first half.

So yeah, of course, on their OWN message board, Chiefs fans are confident in his ability and point to him as a reason they are confident. He has performed miracles on the football field for this team time and again, enough that if we were talking Catholisiscm here, you could apply for his Sainthood many times over.

The Ravens are at home and have a better all-around roster. They have a star QB, and a strong defense. Most of the Chiefs fans here and most of the discussion in this thread before Ravens fans dipped their toes in was about how this was a tough game and a coin flip, with many even saying the odds are with the Ravens.

And I'll leave with again sharing with you the history of this BB in the Mahomes era:

1. Chiefs make AFC title game or Super Bowl
2. Opposing fans start showing up
3. Opposing fans start out nice, then get surprised the Chiefs fans here are supremely confident
4. Opposing fans start chirping about whatever their perceived edge is (19 Titans: Derrick Henry + beating KC in regular season; 19 49ers: Stacked roster, #1 defense; 20 Bills: stacked roster, alien QB, #1 defense, hot team; 21 Bills: stacked roster, alien QB, #1 defense, revenge; 22 Bengals: stacked offense, defense that has Reid/Mahomes' number, alien QB with edge on Mahomes, Mahomes is hurt; 22 Eagles: stacked offense, alien QB, #1 defense)
5. Chiefs fans respond by saying "oh, this again." and point to the history of knocking off these teams with the perceived edge
6. Chiefs go win, anyway.

It's old hat.

Final statement: Of opposing fans who have found their way here and gone through this cycle, you have the potential to stick around and have fun no matter the outcome. That's rare.

Now go chug some antifreeze and throw yourself into a flaming dumpster filled with AIDS needles.
Perfect.
