No. Just stating the obvious. Playoff wins are talked about during the playoffs. Who is in the all time great or greatest ever is because of SB wins.

6 straight AFCCG's is absurd - and if they lose, so be it. They'll be even stronger next year.

Or maybe we'll just **** around and win another Lombardi.

This. I won't be thrilled if they dump it. But I've said it for a long time... It's GODDAMN hard to win. It is exponentially harder to win consistently - that's why nobody does it.

After not winning a playoff game for 25 ****ing years, this team has earned a ton of rope.

Now, that being said, if this team shits the bed, I won't be thrilled. If they just beat us, OK they're really good.

It takes some luck to win. When you have talent it increases your margin to deal with luck. That is magnified when you have elite talent at leverage positions (QB passrush etc). So I like our chances. But they're good so nothing is guaranteed.

The playoffs are when we find out just what the high end of a QB's abilities are.
Pushing Lamar to his limits should work in our favor.
If we can get him in a position he needs to trade punches with Mahomes we're winning. If we can keep it close and give Mahomes a chance to win at the end we're winning. If we can hold them to 21 or fewer we're winning.

I think we're winning...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Yep, and within how hard it is to win year after year, that's why the Chiefs didn't beat both the Bills and Bengals in 2021 and the Bengals didn't beat both the Bills and Chiefs last season.... it's ****ing hard when facing true SB contenders.

And if the Ravens are one as well and win, then tip your cap and reload for next season.

I'm not real worried about the legacy aspect though since I'm not Patrick Mahomes and really give no shits what other people remember or argue about on television... this season for me will be marked by beating the Bills at their house, and lesser so for the novelty of -30⁰... and then if more great things happen, obviously the better.

If those wins and like :13 gets lost in the minds of others, then fine.... I also don’t remember most of Brady's playoff wins, but I'll sure as hell remember these.

13 seconds won't be lost. The immaculate reception was in a divisional playoff game and the Steelers lost the next week to Miami. I'm not saying that 13 seconds is equivalent to the immaculate reception, but it is a result that really stands out because of how great the game was.
