Totally off topic but since you are a mod, I was wondering if you could help or let me know what I need to do. I joined chiefsplanet back in 02 but due to job changing and moving(took about a 2 year leave from the planet) I had forgotten my password and no longer had the email account listed with my original account, afchiefs(with the s) so I opened up a new account but now, no avatars, no thread start, etc., just a noob. Anyway to merge these accounts, if not, no biggie, thanks

sorry Lonewolf. I'm just joking around. I didn't mean to shit on you, Wichita is good peoples. When I was a kid, going to Wichita was a real treat. Wichita was the place to go to play in video arcades, to find comic book shops, to shop for clothes... everything was in Wichita.

I still visit on occasion but its saddening. there are a few cool things on the far east side and far west (new multiplex cinemas, new bowling alleys, sports activity complexes) but the middle has been gutted. Wichita is like a cicada husk that's been bedazzled with 2 rhinestones at either end.

I was mostly joking, so no apology necessary. I actually agree with your take on the city. I grew up in a small town about 20 minutes west of Wichita and going into Wichita was a treat as a kid also.

I had a handful of friends relocate to Wichita after they graduated from KU. When I'd visit our nights would usually consist of going to the casino to play poker, jezebell's strip club, or getting drunk at the pump house.

Wichita is pretty boring.
