Hey, props on showing up after losing. Most don't. How about some praise for the Chiefs after they just beat the favored Ravens in Baltimore?

Baltimore is going to lose a ton of guys. Lots of free agents. This was their best chance. Sure, they have a great coach and great GM and will be around but doubt they are ever this good.

Your corners being so good definitely allows you to mix it up with the front.

As to Kelce, he's as impossible to guard as always. Maybe Hamilton should have been on him all game since he ate against zone today like he always has. But those incredible plays on the first two drives, at least the touchdown, were in man against Hamilton with perfect coverage. What're you supposed to do if it's a perfect back shoulder throw where the TE contorts his body around a 6'4" defender to make the catch? Just have to tip your cap to the connection between he and Mahomes.
Bro, look, you seem nice, but we tried to tell you.

You can't go, "Well, here's what KC played like in all these regular season games and last week!" They know how to win too many different ways.

Mahomes is Jordan. Lamar has the misfortune to play in HIS era. He's Charles Barkley. Great player. Deserved to win one. Never did. There weren't enough opportunities because he had to beat HIM to get to that trophy.

I think the matchup that determined the game was the Chiefs’ front winning against the Ravens’ o-line in the first half, which I didn’t see coming. It wasn’t as pronounced in the second half, but by then the Ravens had to run an offense they don’t normally. If I’m trying to find a silver lining as a Ravens fan, it’s that this was the first year in Monken’s scheme and they should have more answers in the future.

The Chiefs’ offensive efficiency makes the margin for error razor thin for the other guys. That's the advantage a team like the Chiefs have with the stability of their offensive system under Reid. The combination of a QB who makes all of the right plays and a playcaller with a bottomless bag of plays is next level.

The calls the refs made were pathetic. Any time the flags are that lopsided, especially when those penalties are for personal fouls that could be called on literally every play, you’re doing something wrong. But they didn’t determine the game, so that’s not an excuse.

We’ll be back here. Our franchise’s history proves that. There was definitely enough juice in this game to see it becoming a rivalry, but there needs to be relative parity for a real rivalry, and the Ravens haven’t shown they can beat the Chiefs with consistency yet. So until proven otherwise, the conference runs through you guys. I would wish you good luck in the super bowl, but I wouldn’t mean it. ggs.

Tip of that cap for returning here. Lot more balls than a lot of the past fans of other teams.

I think your OC out-thought himself. Went completely in the opposite direction of what got BAL to this game, ffs. 15 rushes total for the game? He should be taken out to the woodshed, imo.

The problem is that for this entire season, including in this game, they stubbornly moved away from designed runs to such a point that that brilliance wasn't at all utilized. How many RPOs did you see this game? QB keepers? Almost literally none, and that's exactly what has made him revolutionary. This is something I think they'll fold back in in year two under Monken.

Also listen, if you guys want to keep obsessing over QBs exclusively like groupies then I'm not here for it. I'll talk the game, but this weird dynamic of just meat riding two guys is a waste of my time.
Literally, he doesn't. He simply knows routes and where guys will be, same as any high school level QB. So he ends up dropping back, waiting 3+ seconds to give someone time to find a hole in a zone and then throws the ball, or moves around in the pocket.

He's quite obviously not nearly smart enough to read a defense or throw to 'the right guy', based off presnap read. He's the epitome of a dumb jock who gets by on athletic ability alone.

You'll never win anything with him. Ever.

Also you're telling on yourself by making this post almost entirely about putting someone else down. Are you that insecure? Is that what Ravens fans did to anger you so, put your team down? Or did they just take pride in their own team? Why does that bother you so much? Do you only feel good when making others feel bad? Why not yourself focus on how good your team is? Miss me with that energy.
Post season matters a lot. One day if you get a QB you'll understand that. It feels pretty special. You also seem pretty thin skinned right now. Sort of emotional, I hope you didn't get a Ravens Super Bowl LVIII tattoo. This place probably isn't the best spot to cry about your awesome regular season that just got flushed down the shitter.

I would say the blame is 70/30 Monken to Lamar. But Monken still represents a marked improvement over Roman, so he's not going anywhere. It was year one in that scheme, so they'll just run it back with tweaks to account for what happened in this game. Really don't see much blame here, they lost to the team with the best shot at being the dynasty of this generation, it happens.
