Everyone enjoying your Monday after?

After listening to very few talking heads not give us a chance against the Ravens it's great watching all the accolades being tossed around this morning

Really looking forward to Nick Wright and what he probably has on FTF for Wildes and Broussard.

What a time to be a Chiefs fan!

I took the 7:25 flight back to KC this morning. Very rough.

Speaking of rough, the Baltimore crowd was definitely that. A full bottle of beer came flying from the second deck and hit the back of the seat two down from mine in the third quarter. After the game, I saw a Baltimore fan slam a shoulder into a very small woman in Chiefs' gear and knock her to the ground in the concourse. I'm no hero, and was happy Baltimore's finest also saw the incident and quickly grabbed the guy.

Reiterating that I'm no hero, I became "Secret Creed" after the game by zipping my black jacket to the top and covering the jersey. As a result, I was able to walk unmolested with the Ravens' fans through the parking lot and listen in to their collective gnashing of teeth. It was glorious!

It is truly amazing how far they have come from the Christmas Day meltdown game. Very hard to believe they won the AFC Championship this season after the struggles we saw in the 2nd half of the regular season. An epic turnaround to get this far. It would be incredible if they can win one more game.

With any luck, that game will be etched into people's brains forever, so we never have to discuss "what they looked like in that one bad game" heading into the postseason ever again.

jk... they'll sleepwalk through a game next September and we'll endlessly hear "iF tHeY pLaY lIkE tHaT aGaIn" for the rest of the year.

Nope - Acho and Wiley are clearly having Jackson as the flag carrier for black QBs because that's how THEY view them - as running QBs. Jackson, Hurts, Justin Fields, Kyler Murray - those are their 'running QBs' and they're using that as a euphemism.

CJ Stroud will never get that kind of love from these guys. Caleb Williams won't. Acho and Wiley are the guys stuck in the stone age alongside Bill Polian. But they're gonna be the first to chew your ass if you point out that Jackson doesn't work from inside the pocket worth a shit.
Mahomes is underrated as a runner by a lot of people as well. ESPN graded him slightly better than Lamar in 2023 when it comes to rushing effectiveness. Check out the list:

Nick did not disappoint.

Rich Eisen was ****ing great. Same with Cowherd.

Didn't care about Skip. Don't care about Skip. Not watching that poop-eating ignoramus. His show without Shannon has got to be the least popular on FS1 by a long shot even for its time slot.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him get axed at the next contract negotiations.

As much as I hate to say it, I wish Sharpe had stayed with Skip. He's now either paired with Stephen A. Smith or Chad Johnson, who are both loudmouth imbeciles that I cannot stand and will not watch. How much to do have to suck to make Bayless look good?

I am sick of opposing QBs getting more credit for losing to Mahomes, than Mahomes gets for winning.

Yeah, everyone is saying Mahomes is great, but they gloss over it, and go right to excuses for how the other QB played or why they lost.

Josh Allen was great, outplayed Mahomes, and was let down by his defense, and that's really why he lost.

Lamar Jackson was great in the regular season, but against Mahomes he was let down by his offensive coordinator, and that's really why he lost.

Its bullshit.

Hell, some have said yeah, the Chiefs defense was good, BUT the Ravens defense was "historic" and they let Lamar Jackson down, and that's really why he lost.

Most of the media gloss over the greatness of Mahomes and the Chiefs, but are obsessed with making excuses for whoever we play and beat.

I've always thought 8th grade would be the nut low grade to have to teach. All the raging hormones, disrespect and brattiness of teenagers – and none of the budding maturity that at least starts to creep in with high school, especially if they're freshmen at a 4-year-school where they're getting semi-hazed.

Nick was great...and th 4 banners were perfect. Got to admit Broussard owned up to it all...and that last flag for Wildes...made me chuckle.

Rich Eisen...isn't this the second year he bet against Mahomes and the Chiefs? Hopefully he learns...

Haven't seen Colin Cowherd segment yet...looking forward to it.

Today I got several texts from guys at work who were sure the Ravens were ending KC's run....nice but there were too many "but if's" in the congratulations. Seemed a bit less genuine.

I listened to Petro for a bit while taking my son to school. He had Teicher on.

I can’t believe how miserable these guys sound. I’m sure there was more to the show, but the half hour or so I listened to was all discussion about Toney.

They debated whether or not it was a good trade and how negative he’s been for the team. He’s becoming a distraction now. Petro said this WILL be a national story over the next two weeks.

Do people really listen to this garbage seriously? I rarely listen and almost always turn it off annoyed. No wonder middle aged Chief fan can’t be happy. This is what he consumes.
