Of course, but suspended half a ****ing season? That would be the most extreme punishment relative to the infraction that we've seen in the NFL.

And this is at a time when the NFL has been a bit lax with this stuff recently.

^this^ was the most likely outcome and I posted it earlier in this thread. He is getting a suspension by the NFL whether he admits to driving or not. It won't be more than 4 games, most likely 2, and game checks are a lot less than the liability he faces. Since he was driving the insurance limits should easily cover all claims as the worst injury was a few stitches in an eyelid.

no they will sue the insurance company if they don't settle. The medical side of this is minimal with the worse being a few stitches in an eyelid. I would be surprised if that would lead to much more than $10k pain and suffering. Again, all well under the insurance limits.
