Well, based on the video it shouldn't have been shut down for hours. My only guess is a Sat. night before Easter and light traffic so no urgency and/or having trouble finding tow trucks. Again, I've seen way worse accidents traveling in cities that the freeway is opened back up in an hour.

Did Kareem Hunt get suspended for speeding and having pot and vodka in his car in 2020? If not, I’m not sure how you pop Rice if you are the NFL. Yeah it’s a bad look, I hope to hell he learned a lesson, but this is not domestic violence. This is not Andy Reid’s kid or Riggs either.

Not more than a 20 minutes... If there was a fatality or a serious injury, sure, but none of the cars were horribly damaged, rolled or on their side.

For Rashee’s lawyer to publicly admit this early in the process that his client was driving suggests to me three possibilities:

1 Gross incompetence (unlikely given his stature)
2 Preliminary negotiations with the DA have gone well, or
3 Thinks he knows exactly what DA will do

I can’t speak for all prosecutors, but when a defense attorney came to me and said, “hey, we both know my client’s guilty, what can we do to work this out?” my typical reaction, especially in less serious cases like this, was “sure,” not “f*** you you take the max and like it”
