it feels so awesome having a legit superstar play for the Royals again. Been too long. Not only that, but already having him under contract for at least the next seven years, and hopefully more beyond that.

The only superstar I ever got to watch was Greinke, but really he only had one year of legitimate dominance with KC. Wasn't alive for Brett, so this is my first actual experience with a bonafide super star Royals player.

George Brett and I were the same age, I drove up many times from Southern Kansas to watch him and the Royals through the years, great baseball during his career. Witt is rounding out to be in Bretts class!
