Even if it was it doesn't mean you need to cuff him and detain him instead of dealing with it later. For them to pull him out of the car, take the extra step to throw him to the ground, cuff him, then detain him... It's possible he did enough to provoke it but it would have to be a loit. Just issue the citation and send him on his way. He's an athlete and you know he's not gonna skip practice to dodge a ticket. Yeah this really matters because we've already seen two athletes almost miss out on games for this, one was already found to be blatantly innocent. And I'm sure none of us want to see a chiefs player get caught up on this. |
