He had a every good season last year. He was PFF's 39th ranked CB for example. Had 6 PBUs to go with 4 INTs. Many will scoff at this, but he's better than Nazeeh, and might allow them to move McDuffie back inside while using Conner more like a true S.

Yeah, it's not even comparing to our current starters, it's comparing against the scenario of one of our guys getting hurt and someone down the list suddenly playing a ton of snaps.

Based on what? He played at a competent level last season. That would be a slightly higher level of play than we’ve gotten from that slot.
