Let's Talk About the Steelers (Christmas Day Game)

Biggest game of the year. If we win, we get the 1 seed and can rest guys as needed against the Donks.

Here we go again. I’m amazed Mahomes didn’t have his leg amputated Saturday night.

I’d keep Jones on a passing downs pitch count, but only on possessions where the Steelers can take the lead or extend to 2 possessions.

If we’re up by multiple scores, he can sit. If we’re down by multiple scores, he can sit.

I wouldn’t have him in there unless it’s critical points of a game in doubt.

Steelers offense is awful even with Pickens. The real issue will be their pass rush.

Same exact type of game as Sunday but against lesser talent at QB, WR and RB.

It’s gonna be a battle though. They need this game

honestly im expecting us to dominate them the way the eagles did

dont see the steelers offense having enough juice against us now that hollywood is back

24-10 chiefs, and it won’t feel close early on

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense has fallen off a cliff.

In their last two games, they have allowed 54 points and have been picked apart in all facets. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith each had over 100 yards and the Eagles held the ball for over 40 minutes, including the last 10 minutes and change in the fourth quarter.

Against Baltimore, Derrick Henry ran for over 160 yards as Baltimore dominated the Steelers up front. On top of that, the Steelers have allowed 19 touchdowns on their opponents last 28 trips.

won’t discount them stealing a wild card game potentially, but some of the AFCCG+ aspirations after they were 10-3 is definitely looking more and more unrealistic

Guys, I'm playing against Mahomes for $3000 and Joey Porter Jr. is likely out. We're going to go OFF.

Cmon man. Did we learn nothing from Christian McCaffrey?

I STRONGLY believe Jones is fine because it's kinda his M.O. to milk stuff a little. But IF he truly were hurt and that calf was tender Wednesday, he should not play.

We don't win the Super Bowl without him, period.

I pushed through a small calf strain, never made it worse but it did develop into a Achilles tendinitis that was a bitch to get ride of.

Different injury, position, didn’t Kevin durant push though a calf injury only to tear his Achilles?

It's still the same mindset. The MRI was negative. If he needs rest, they will give it to him. If he doesn't, he will play. This team has earned the benefit of the doubt. There's nothing to be scared of.

Yeah, ultimately the team and player have more info than we do.

This isn’t the Chargers. We can rest easy knowing they’ll make the correct call given the information they have.

If he rests, that’s the right call. If he plays, that’s also the right call.

Doesn’t mean it will work out like we hope (either way). Just means the smart people are making the best decision with the information they have.
