Not with our tackle situation IMO. Not sure he would’ve made it through the season since he is a statue. Pat saved so many plays with his legs.

I will give Purdue credit at least he made it to the SB but I wouldn’t give him or Darnold a $50 million/ yr contract.

Oh, I wouldn't give Darnold $50M/yr either.

But he is more mobile than Cousins, and it's not close. And I'm referencing Cousins before the injury.

Minn will have an issue when McCarthy is ready next year. Sounds like they want both on the team.

I'd keep Darnold for at least another season, maybe two. Give him a similar deal to what Baker/Geno got (3yrs/$90-$100M).
