Anyone think Intel is a buy? Yeah, all the news is bad, but it seems like the crash is subsided.

I keep hearing it is a good candidate to take private. If that's the case, there is usually a premium. If not, you gotta think with all the assets, some sort of turnaround is incoming if they can un**** themselves.

Can anyone give me the low down on NVIDIA? I don’t think I’m late here. I just know they are super niche and very good at what they do.

And not to be political, but Nancy Pelosi, the GOAT of stock gains, has loaded up on this one. It’s by far her largest holding.

Again not being political here but your portfolio has gains of 55% in 2024 I’m definitely gonna follow you

The problem I have with following someone like Pelosi is she most likely has inside information. Second, if you’re following, you’re already behind.

I still like Nvidia, although I think their growth won’t be as high as it’s been over the last few years. I’m not sure that they will crash though, so dollar cost averaging into the stock may be a good idea.

I’m a firm believer that most people don’t have the time or knowledge to research and hand pick stocks, and therefore would be better off buying an index fund.

I think I'd hesitate to get in as far as it's run up.

The PE ratio is 59.10. The earnings growth would have to be astronomical to support that.

That being said, it could run a hell of a lot longer.

Yeah dude. The Nancy Pelosi Stock Trader account on X made an app called autopilot that shows their holdings and it’s free.

So far I see Crenshaw with 42% 1 year gains, Pelosi with 55% 1 year gains and surprisingly the Schultz Rep from Florida is up 63% (!!!) 1 year gains

Interesting graph I ran across in a newsletter that stole it from JPM Wealth Management.

It graphs the 10 year returns after the S&P at various Forward PE levels.



I'm a homer douche about the S&P500. Maybe I should be less. Problem is I'm guessing if I get too crazy, I'll have trouble outperforming the S&P materially, so maybe the answer is keeping a little bigger cash position or *gasp* bonds. (I ****ing hate bonds).

Anyway, it may mean nothing, but zooming out I think has value.

This week I set up Actual Budget for budgeting and tracking my investments. It's an open source alternative to YNAB or Mint. It's free so I only pay $1.50/month for the real time transaction API. I'm liking it so far.
