We will not be there. Hubby is normally able to get off work, but his boss, who usually covers his shifts, has a granddaughter with a birthday that day. Granddaughter birthdays trump divisional playoff games. We'll be there for the AFCCG though! Have fun this weekend!

I would recommend that anyone planning to attend, download your tickets now. Do it from the website because the Chiefs app doesn't work for ticketing. It's been broken since preseason. Download your tickets and parking pass to your Google or Apple wallet is the best way to do it.

Yeah, right now the playoffs are scheduled during our "peak awful" winter time, so the good news it really can't get any worse.

I do agree with Bwillie on not wanting it to push further out, though. I've always felt that for an outdoor sport, the thing that makes sense is to start the season a few weeks earlier rather than extend it to mid-February. Seems the NFL wants to run the season all the way up to the beginning of March Madness, though, so might as well let that dream go.
