I forgot where I heard it but it makes sense - the LEAGUE is the 32 teams, not Goodall or some mysterious shadowy figures pulling strings to rig games. In every game , if you only focus on the calls against one team, you will find some that are borderline, or at least close enough to propagate a fictional narrative.

He believed with impunity that his offense getting into short yardage situations on 3rd and 4th down was his win condition. They just didn't get it done. Failed two 2-pt conversions and the 4th down at midfield.
