Let's Talk About the Eagles (Super Bowl 59 Discussion)

We're headed back to the Ship and will try to be the first team to 3-peat in Super Bowl history!!! Chiefs open up as 1.5 favorites over the Eagles.

Discuss.

Ok here’s my view points on what is going to happen… and I think this is one of the more concerned superbowls that I’ve been concerned about recently.

Hate me for it, but I bet on the eagles tonight with the spread because I KNEW their defense was suspect as was Detroit’s… neither Washington or Detroit made any credible stops and it made me realize how badly their offenses had been carrying them throughout the season. Needless to say, it was a comfortable $200 bet.

I think this eagles team is dangerous… Barkley is scary, that oline is scary… the wrs are scary, Jalen is a fire cracker…. Even though there is a lot of bitches out there upset the chiefs are in it again, I think they are all in for a REAL show in 2 weeks….

That being said, I just can’t see a way we lose…. With Mahomes and company in toe, I just don’t see us losing, whether we win 80-70 or 50-40, I think it’s gonna be exciting and fun to watch…

I also sneaked on the bills message board and they are saying the same shit we are, why bother when we have this FO, QB, and coach?

I think the key to victory is simple: stop Saquan at all costs.

IMO the Bills are better than the Eagles. It doesn’t mean the Eagles can’t win but we just beat a better team. Don’t turn the ball over and limit Barkley (somewhat) and we should win.

And your comparison on this is to what team and running back?? Barkley was only roughly 100 yards behind Dickerson for that record, but had 30 less rushing attempts…. You’re talking about an Oline and running back that produced the best ever running back statistics in the history of the NFL in a time and era when that philosophy of football was thought to be dead…

Mind you, they have AJ brown and Devontae Smith out wide… they are not a RB focused only team and have shown they will go pass option and use Barkley as a tight end/blanket receiver while taking shots to AJ brown and Devontae.

This is why my post previously highlighted post stated that I don’t think in any way or chance we lose especially after witnessing tonight’s game against Buffalo, but I think the world is in for a “show” in a few weeks….

And **** everyone that keeps saying “the superbowl nobody wanted”… eagles and chiefs were the favorites for the conference championships and as such, are in the bowl game… hate us cause they ain’t us…

Eagles should have lost to the rams because the NFC west builds warriors. I still remember that 7-9 Seahawks team smacking the saints and Bree’s in the mouth shocking the football media world after a week of “should a losing team host a playoff game”..

I’ve never seen nothing but respect towards the AFC west, from the NFC west message boards, and I will give that division credit. They **** eachother up worse than the recent prime days of Balt/Pitt.

WTF kind of stupid shit is this? If the NFCW "builds warriors" then why are the Cardinals dog shit? Seahawks?

Just a little research on the Eagles.

1. They have been weak in the middle of the field since their linebacker Dean got injured. Tyler Higbee and Zach Ertz both had big games against them in these playoffs.

2. Like Buffalo they have been living off turnovers in this playoff run. Packers had 4 turnovers, Rams 2 and Washington 4.

3. They've struggled against running QB's. Lamar and Daniels have ran all over them. I know Pat isn't those guys running but if you look at the list of QB's they've faced no-one else was a running threat. But still Trevor Lawrence still managed to run TWO td's when he played them.
