We’re not gonna make them play from behind like that. And even if so, their running game has explosives that make it a fair-er fight. Blowouts don't happen unless one team repeatedly turns the ball over. Two or three consecutive drives with turnovers. Like Washington against Philadelphia. Without those mistakes, most teams are within striking distance no matter how poor they play.

Teams don't usually fall apart against us like that. They're more dialed in to play KC.

You could argue that the Eagles best chance of a quick strike touchdown is with Barkley.

They would be foolish to abandon the run, regardless of the score.

They are totally a run first offense now. Barkley can take it to the house on any given play. We cant let up on him for a single play.

I think we are seriously undervaluing their Defense as well. They are much better than Buffalo's D.

This game will be every bit as hard as last week but for different reasons.

They might not have the pass rush as last Super Bowl.

But they are ranked the number 1 defense in football this year.

The KC defense has a hard time getting the ball when it's available. Houston had about 4 turnover worthy plays and got away with them. Buffalo had about 8 turnover worthy plays and got away with them, a year after Buffalo also got away with at least 5 turnover worthy plays in the Divisional Playoff vs. the Chiefs in Buffalo.

Sure would be nice if the tables get turned on Philly in this game, and suddenly the Eagles have a bunch of turnovers. Would be the perfect moment for the Chiefs defense to pull off a big turnover game.

Gonna be a big challenge there. Eagles turned the ball over a bunch in the first 4 games then had their bye week.

Since the bye they've won the turnover battle 34-7 in their last 16 games since.

this is why i laugh when people stress over the offense. mahomes managed to drop 38 with those scrubs, he's not going to have any issues putting numbers on the board with this roster.

stopping the eagles offense on the other hand... that is going to be one ****ing hell of a difficult task. we have to get ahead early and make these guys one dimensional. eliminate the threat of the run early and this could be a blow out - if not this game will be a brutal grind to the last minute.

The Eagles are due for an off game in the turnover battle. The Chiefs defense is due for a game where the other team doesn't repeatedly get away with turnover worthy plays.
