Those losses to LSU and 'Bama were both tight losses in games they could've won. Win either of those and they're in the playoffs. And if they make the playoffs, they weren't gonna win it (didn't have the QB play) but they could've done a little damage.

Getting their asses kicked at home by Ole Miss was really their only bad loss of the season. Otherwise, they were pretty damn good and just didn't hit anyone's radar until about week 12.

Their offense was too far behind their defense but they had some dudes on defense for sure. DE Kyle Kennard, DT T.J. Sanders, DT Tonka Hemingway, CB Fortune, LB Demetrius Knight, SS Nick Emmanwori plus a few more draft eligible that probably won't get drafted. That's a killer group. Hell, the entire lot of those guys probably are off the board by the end of Day 2 except Hemingway. RB Raheim Sanders is solid. It's possible TE Joshua Simon gets into the late 7th. They also translate pretty well to the pro game in general.
