Despite his Super Bowl drop I liked the guy. It still makes me feel like we just don’t use the contested catch as much as we should. That being said he looks cooked. He made some wild catches only he can make but also had too many uncharacteristic drops beyond the Super Bowl. It kind of reminds me of getting Jason avant after his hands became unreliable and he was too old to get separation.

Maybe a different style of offense helps him but he was the biggest disappointment of last season...Mahomes just isnt a contested catch QB. KC rarely gets DPI calls because of this.

He probably would be good with Burrow...just throw up it and hope your all-pro WRs out muscle the guy.

It actually seems like a solid signing by Baltimore. Lamar has two gears. WRs get wide open when defenses are too concerned with his wheels. If that isn’t there he’s not really a read the defense guy. So just chuck up contested throws. None of his guys right now can do that
