I just didn't really see the excitement around him after camp and into the season. He may be a slow builder, which he was in college and just gradually get better and better but the early returns are we don't have a future all pro on our hands.

I hope he is athletic and has some wiggle as opposed to being just a tall guy who plods to his spot and stands there. Really hope the injury didn't limit him before he even gets started.

I need to go back and watch his college tape again.

He's very athletic but what Ive learned over the years about TE is that peak athleticism doesn't matter as much as we think it does at that position.

The number of people crying bust when the dreaded microfracture in the knee came to light was astounding.

Might be time to dust that thread off.

Not enough IMO.

That's below Ted Popson's production in 1997.

He was being ramped up in the offense when he got hurt. Not to mention tight ends just take time. Bunch of wet blanket ****s around here when a rookie 4th round tight end doesn’t look like prime Toney G. And did I mention he’s behind the greatest tight end of this generation (**** gronk) and a well integrated part of the passing game that was just extended in Gray?

They need to get him in space with the ball. He's athletic, use that.
