Schreiber had a 1.50 ERA and hadn't allowed a run in a month. He's been great. You can't put that on Q. Team needs to score runs, just got beat by an ace pitcher tonight.

If you're criticizing Q's management of our pitching staff or anything related to our pitching staff, you should probably learn some things about baseball.

This is a problem with our offense. Period. We need two more hitters in this lineup. That gets two below replacement hitters out of the lineup AND gives better opportunities to the other guys.

Valdez was excellent, no doubt.

But you do not bunt , 1 out, guy on 2nd base, no matter who was batting! Even Isbel, who knows if he could have gotten a hit there?

Erceg wasn't looking hittable, I would not of changed pitchers. It's not to say the guy might have still hit a HR, but I wouldn't have changed pitchers.

Chalk it up as an L, come back tomorrow and get a win!

The offense is ass, but that still doesn't explain why Q makes so many wrong decisions with relievers. He has no feel at all, and his decisions backfire more than an old Chevy Vega.

I guess if I had my choice between Erceg or Schreiber, facing their 3, 4, and 5 hitter in the bottom of the 9th....I would go with Erceg (who had all of 12 pitches) every time. But oh well, that's baseball. Get 'em tomorrow Royals!

Sucks to be right so much. This L is on Renfroe, and Renfroe being in the lineup is on the manager. Whether or not he was having a power struggle with upper management, that loss falls on the manager for playing a player that isn't fit to be in the majors.
