Caitlin Clark is going to be the greatest women's basketball player of all time and it won't be close.

She needs a ring though. Nobody cares about all the Dan Marino’s out there.

She’ll definitely have to get a ring at this level to earn that title. Until then she’s just the Josh Allen of the women’s game. The lovable white hope with great stats and no rings at any level.

Sure but the standard is ridiculous. Women's college bball is easily one of the sports where theres tons and tons of stacking with recruits. It's not like the pros where there's an actual salary restriction to balance teams out. Her college "flaw" was that she didn't pick a blue blood school, on the other hand she carried less talented teams to back to back finals

That’s fine and good for her, but she still needs that hardware.

It’s like all these excuses from Bills fans about Josh Allen that we hate so much is exactly what we’re doing with Clark right now lol.

I’m a fan of Clark, but goats have rings.

Women's basketball is just an online culture war now. And there is one side that is clearly winning.

If Caitlin Clark died tomorrow I have to assume that the world at large stops caring about women's basketball.

I'd still have sweet Angel Reese rebound/shooting gifs to post but that's all that would be left.

Yes but that is what she needs to do versus any slight that she hasn't done it yet. I get what you're saying. But I think it's more about being careful not to become Josh Allen versus saying if she's Josh Allen already. Mahomes didnt have a great w/l record at TTEch either.

3000+ posts since 2023 isn't that much discussion.

The WNBA is forced on the public.

The media hypes up the WNBA because……

We all know why.

I wouldn't care except the ESPN app is always sending notifications about the league. Which can't be turned off.

The funniest push was during the draft when ESPN listed the five major leagues as the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and WNBA.

Well, it worked.

I couldn't personally tell you which network that game was on, and on any given Saturday afternoon/evening I sure as hell have better things to do than "being forced" to watch the WNBA, much less post tweets from the likes of NotKennyRogers, who probably doesn't make the front page of Twitter very often and also isn't force on people.

It's not like these games are being played at halftime of the NBA playoffs, pretty sure people could avoid it without much heartburn.
