I sit in the "affordable" section and still don't pick my nose during the game because I assume I'm always being filmed somewhere but yet someone is going to yell racial slurs at a player during one of their biggest televised games, sitting close enough for them to hear it, and its not already plastered over social media?

I have no doubt it happens but from a WNBA, ESPN, all the acronym marketing, I'd think it be out there already because that seems to be the angle they're narrating

I hope its not true and if so, then **** them, but I need to hear/see it

Jussie was in the crowd and heard it too!

It was most likely Caitlin's dad right? He was out there slinging the hard 'r' because that's the only card you can play with an absolute phenom like Angel

What do you think is more balanced and meaningful? An "All-Iowa" AAU team winning a national championship or some randoms besides her in a smaller Catholic high school supporting her to win a high school title?

What a weird thing to try and ding her on. I'm sure you have no context for this.
Of course a high school title is more meaningful than an AAU squad. I’m guessing the number of WNBA players that have an AAU title is almost 100%. You’re gonna hate seeing who she was a runner up to in 2019 if you’re really looking for more context.

Anyway it's a shame Clark had to ruin her great performance with that dirty hit on Angel. If the roles were reversed it would be leading the news but the Reese haters are of course making excuses. And as for the Fever fans apparently yelling racist stuff at Angel. Let them keep showing their bigoted true colors and we'll see if other black players wants to go and play for that organisation in the future. Those bigots are just hurting their own franchise.
When a power forward is wide open for a layup and the guard is the only one to stop it, you make sure that shot doesn't go up. It was a hard foul for good reason. Maybe a little extra at the end but it was a basketball play.

All these allegations about racism and not a single concrete amount of evidence. I am guessing that arena has zero tolerance for that kind of shit. Same arena that hosts an NBA team without any incidents. While you're on that high horse, maybe you should take a look at what these so called morally upstanding sky fans are saying about the black teammates that defended Clark and lebron for supporting him. And maybe you should look at what angels teammates said about sky fans who bullied them to tears because they didn't pass her the ball enough. Weve heard the accusations all year and yet they resigned their best players and brought in several sought after veterans who have praised the fans and seem to love playing there.

Calling an entire fanbase racist for a sport that supports predominantly minorities is wild. And the WNBA has to stop giving in to these WNBA gatekeepers who insist on taking social stances instead of being like all other sports where fans of all colors love and support predominantly black people who play in the NBA. At some point the WNBA has to defend the majority of these fans taking stray bullets for no good reason.

And finally, Clark likes the Chiefs. Reese likes the Ravens. Do you need more than that or are you trying to make it a race thing?
Yeah I mean like most sports fans I don't care about a players color, shape or size. I only care if they can ball. She's good at branding herself and good for her. But it's all so forced. She's Clint capela which isn't bad but is nowhere near the goddess status some give her. But for all the shit Clark gets for not fitting in her ex and current teammates seem to love her while Reese has burned lots of bridges in her short time. Even for people who insist the product is shit, there are plenty of players who are legitimately good that we don't need gatekeepers to force us to bend the knee to someone.

If that was actually happening then it's a big deal.

It takes a special kind of gullible however to think that there are people in a pro basketball arena saying racist shit as if they arent going to get reported or get their ass kicked. As if someone isn't gonna take their camera out and get the receipts. Of all sports why would anyone think a basketball crowd would tolerate that? It's such a lazy attack because theyre considered flyover country even though Indy is a large diverse area.

In terms of social media, both sides are doing it. I don't think either deserve to have any excuses. But trolls are not the fans people are painting awfully with broad brush strokes.

Other night I was watching SportsCenter, Royals had made a great defense play earlier that night. Easily a Web Gem, SC Top 10. ESPN had to put a WNBA three point shot, which would be an ho hum average shot in the NBA not that impressive, in the SC Top 10 that night. And it was number 3.

Not to mention them trying to prop up Adam Scheffler and Woj Bomb types for breaking WNBA news. Nobody gives a **** about that sport.

Right, because WNBA games are well known hangouts for racist rednecks.

TFOH. Show me proof and I’ll believe it. Until then, it’s just sour grapes from a sore loser.

That wasn’t a dirty hit. It was a hard play on the ball and a flop from Reese.
