Jesus Christ dude... Just stop. She tied the league record for 20 point w/ 10 assist games in her first 42 games as a pro. The person she is tied with as played in 410. She took Iowa 2 National Championship games where she was the only player on Iowa who would have likely started on the other teams in the finals. She had 6 weeks off last year before starting the WNBA season and went to the worst team in the leage. Your hate makes you look reeruned.

I don’t think anyone is saying the Clark is the best player in league. Maybe they are but they’re wrong. There can still be resentment because of attention and endorsements and stuff that’s unrelated to how good she is or what race she is.

So as to not put words in other guys’ mouths, it is my notably uneducated opinion that the highest probability is that most players are fine with Clark. There are some noisy coaches, which is super weird. And obviously some players don’t like her whether she deserves it or not - she doesn’t run some smack - but who gives a shit I’m sure there are other players that aren’t liked.

When shit boils over it makes headlines but I don’t think it’s a systemic problem or it would have had to been addressed by now. If the whole league hated her she’d have gotten seriously injured or something by now.

I’m not interested in litigating this to death. I just don’t care. So

Her personal stats have been very good just like Luca Doncic's are. But ya'll love to hype up her stats but when the facts are presented about her failing to win things why do the goalposts get moved? The LSU team that beat her had very few WNBA level players outside of Angel. Only Johnson is a legit star and she's still in college so I don't buy that excuse tbh.

Clark also had several top draft selections around her last season in Indiana. Boston, Mitchell, Smith etc. But it's funny how you claim "she was with a bad team" but ya'll wanna turn around and rag on Angel who is currently on a worse team who are currently rebuilding? Let's be serious here.

The league has a lot of white players too. How come when folks talk about "resentment towards Clark" the finger is mainly pointed at black players? What about the other white players? Is the great Breanna Stewert "resentful" considering she's a white player who was also the number one pick In the draft, won an incredible FOUR college rings, has THREE wnba championships and two MVP's plus finals MVP's?? Breanna is everything folks hype Clark up to be but she's nowhere close right now.

America does have a long history of that dating back to Jackie Robinson, doesn’t it? Hank Aaron and Bill Russell were so strongly embraced that they never faced racism or bias. What about that short little era in the 30’s and 40’s when African Americans weren’t allowed in the NFL? That history of embracing everyone in pro sports continued, unbroken, through the decades leading up to Colin Kaepernick. And now poor Caitlin isn’t receiving that universal support because she’s white.
