Current Players that are killing the Chiefs

other than the opposing teams RB's. Here's a group that needs to find their game, or find the exit:

Roaf - Willie looks horribly slow. I don't know if he's just old or is nursing an injury, but he's got to get his shit together. I don't know if Bober can play LT, but that might be an option until Wilie gets his game back in order.

Morton - Looks uninspired, slow to his routes and just all round bad. Dude has got to find some game, and bring it on more than just 2-3 plays.

Hall - Is Dante wearing ballet slippers? How many more times is he going slip and to trip himself up. I'm not asking for a TD return, I just want better balance from a guy who makes a living in the return game.

Hicks - Stop talking and start producing. I'm sick of this pussy. He scored a huge contract and has been worthless ever since. Say what you want, but his lack of killer instinct is a big reason we suck along the DL

Sims - We might as well plant a tree at LDT. At least a tree provides shade in the afternoon.............I think we can officially call this a wasted pick.

Barber - Hello, is anybody home? If you've seen Shawn, tell him we'd like for him to make a tackle. Getting one's hands on a player doesn't mean he's down. This isn't touch Shawn, it's tackle. Rap the fugger up and bring him down like a man.

McCleon - Dex had a nice season, last year. He looks gawd awful this year. We have to have him step up. Julian Battle, Will Bart and Sapp are just of no use to this team right now. This spot scares the crap outta me.

DV and the Staff - Show some fugging balls. Take a few chances, and stop playing like this offense is a juggernaut - cuz it ain't. Go for the 4th downs, stop playing like we always have a lead, and show something, anything that tells us you're alive! You and Your merry band of overpaid idiots need a gut check. Get it together during the week, and bring it to the field on Sundays. Nuff said.

I never said he was double-teamed "all day". I said he was double-teamed "quite often" and he was. He also broke a couple of them.

I'm not saying he's a world-beater, but he's looking better each game. He was one of the guys who suffered most under Robinson.

Yeah, when DT's get double-teamed you expect the DE's to make plays.

Unfortunately, we don't have any real DE's.

Right now youcan look at the whole team, except the guys sitting on the pine.

Even yesterday when Green was hit on a pass play, they called it a fumble.... no wistle and Priest Holmes was less than 5 yards to the ball, made no effort to go after it, assuming it was incompleted pass.

Team ball is lacking.......... period, across the board.

WR's are hurt and out of sync with Green
Gonzo plays like he is hurt.
Roaf looked like his arthritis is flaring up, he was slow yesterday.
McCleon looks like he favors his shoulder and is affraid to make a tackle.

It starts at the coaches and goes downhill to the players .

What's Woods' excuse when Wesley is in? Woods flat out sucks in zone coverage. They should move him back to nickel, he's no good unless he's getting his mits on someone.

Why are blue chip defensive tackles on other teams, who are frequently double teamed, able to make tackles, sacks, etc., but Sims doesn't? People love to use the "Sims was double teamed" excuse a lot with the kid. The fact remains he is underproducing and underachieving for someone who was taken with the number 6 pick 3 years ago.

I dunno. I haven't paid as much attention to Woods to give an honest assessment. Now that you mention it, I'll spy on him next week.

Sorry, but I'm not prepared to lay this loss at the feet of the Defense. They held Carolona TD-less in the first half. **I mean held them to one TD...** In the second half, Carlolina had the fuggin' ball for 21+ minutes. Our lame ass offense only had it for a little over 8. If you put that kind of pressure on any defense, you will have problems. If you put that kind of pressure on OUR defense, you will lose.

...nope. Our D got 2 picks, one returned for a TD. The offense was lame as lame can be. I still think that if our O had been competative, we wouldn't have given up so much on Defense.

Nope. This loss is directly the fault of our Offense, or lack thereof. Priest was taken out with 8 minutes left in the game, but was apparently not injured...? He only had 66 yards or something like that. We weren't converting third downs, and thereby put the game in the hands of our defense, which is the worse place to put them. And still, the Defense OUTPERFORMED the offense. They got it done until the 4th quarter. The offense got it done in the first quarter, then went out to the paking lot for beer and brats...

This is indeed going to be a long year. I have no confidence in this team's ability right now. They need to win big this weekend. Sadly, it's not even a given that they will show up to play at all...

The O and Coaching contributed more to this loss than the D. Barber agaist the run is a Joke. I just reviewed the linebacker play on the big runs agaist us yester day and 3 times barber made terrible decisions.Beisel took on the lead blocker at the line "as he should" and recieved absolutly NADA help from Barber or a safety. Agist the run the first half the d was swarming. After the O left them out to dry they simply lost their legs and their heads.

Agreed. The D played great in the first half. Came out lousy to start the 3rd, and tried to hang on after being forced on the field by our putrid O. Still, the D did a lot of what ew saw last year - long runs, poor tackling, missed assignments, etc. SSDD

I'm starting to think we should have used Woods' and Wesley's money elsewhere and started Pile and Harts at safety. Thought Pile was one of few bright spots yesterday.

Last years offense with this year's defense, we would have had a different outcome. Our defense has indeed improved, but our offense has taken huge steps backwards, which exposes our defense to way too much playing time and therefore opportunities for mistakes. Sorry, I really think last year was our best chance, and GRob fugged that up for us. The offense is predictable, injury ridden and seemingly in decline. The Defense does it's job, but it depends on the offense to stay on the field.

Unless that changes, we're screwed...

Blue chip like who? John Henderson? He had 6.5 sacks in 2002, but other than that, he hasn't done that much. This season, he has 8 tackles in 2 games. He plays next to Marcus Stroud, one of the best DT's in the game.

Is Sims underproducing? Absolutely. Is he a complete and utter bust? Not a chance.

FWIW, he looked CONSIDERABLY better next to Siavii than he did next to Dalton. When Dalton was in the game, Sims almost always got a double-team.

They had the ball for 21 minutes because our D gave the whole 3rd quater to Carolina. How long was that first drive? How many 3rd down conversion we let them have on that drive alone?
