Sub-forum decision

We have 4 sub-forums stuck at the top of the page. We need to add a "Games" sub-forum during the season for all our Gambling, pick'em, score, fantasy, etc. games which accompany the regular season.

I don't want more than 4 sub-forums at the top, so one of them needs moved. Which one?

First of all, the DC forum is RIGHT WHERE IT'S ALWAYS BEEN.

Second, your feigned nobility is almost laughable.

And finally, there are no contradictions. Any moderator action on this board ultimately comes down to a judgment call. Put your rulebook away and stop...

One other thing, anyone who does not think that moving a forum to a location with no direct visibility on the front page who does not believe it kills that forum's traffic and kills the threads, go check the threads in the Hall of Classics and Romper Room, threads in those forums were amongst the most active threads of all time. When things get moved there instantly the posting drop off to almost nothing or nothing. That is no accident.

Jim, IF this happens, the first step was taken when you switched votes and decided to split the forums.

I am not accusing the moderators of anything. I am accusing the BB population of trying to silence a portion of the BB population, I know everyone of the moderators and I know that is not your or any of their intents. Sorry if I gave that misimpression. I am talking about the folks who want the visibility gone because they are too chickenshit to control themselves and avoid DEnise/jettio/jAZ.

also curious to know how many alter ego's have stuffed the ballot box.

if there was anyway to prove it or not, i would bet money that the conservative mass exodus from D.C. was organized in some fashion.

That dog won't hunt. This board had plenty of traffic before the creation of the DC forum. It will have plenty of traffic if the DC forum evaporates. No one should come here to talk politics exclusively. If they do, then too bad. Go find a political BB to piss and moan on. The names of this site is chiefsplanet.com. If you came here looking to talk politics, you obviously took a wrong turn at Albuquerque ala Bugs Bunny.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. If I can't get Denise banned, then I have to play by the rules everyone else has set. If moving the DC forum keeps her further away from this forum, than that is the path I must follow. It is perhaps rather sad that an internet site has come to mean as much as it does, but that is the case. And she lessens my enjoyment here, so whatever keeps her at a distance is what I support.

Trust me, it isn't my first choice.

You know I worried when I switched my vote but yet did so reluctantly because the football traffic was stopping in the lounge due to the election that was upcoming.

Again to the moderators I am sorry, I am talking about the intent of the voters not the intent of the moderators. So once again because I was not clear I apologize.

ahhhh .... so you admit that all your arguments to this point have basically been bullchit.

you can't figure out how to use the iggy button, so you willing to do whatever it takes, including killing the D.C. forum, to cover up your lack of technical ability.

Maybe so.......but being one on the other side of the fence this is not like any other time in the history of the planet. This is a new experience whether you are aware of it, or not. Even during past preseasons or regular seasons there has been a predominant conservative dominance on the DC forum that has made it's presence known.

This is almost spooky for those of us who are used to being backed into a corner.
