2006 College Baseball Thread

Nebraska historically has always been a big baseball state. They've always produced Div 1 talent but that talent always left the state when John Saunders was the HC at Nebraska. He alienated the HS and American Legion coaches. That all changed when he was fired and Dave Van Horn took over. Since then the Husker program took off when the instate talent stayed home instead of heading off to Stanford, Arizona St ect. ect. And is continuing with Mike Anderson the current HC. Creighton has always had a good pick of the instate talent as well. For such a small state Nebraska has a unbelievable number of players in MLB HOF. 20 some odd I believe.
