You've got about a 16% chance to catch your 10 on the turn so you either raise or you'll probably be forced into folding when one of the other six raises.
With that many people calling one is bound to have you beat with a pair of J's or Q's. |

Check/ Fold, you are losing at this point with 6 people calling you, if you "catch" your ten, or your pair, odds are that someone else just got two pair with the A coming out on the turn or River, or also the odds of someone catching a Flush...
Check - Fold...

With that many callers it's tough, but I'd fire another bullet and bet the pot. Even if it pushed me all in.

First of all, since both blinds called the bet, the action is first on them. If both check I take a stab at the pot.
With that many players in the pot after the flop, chances are a decent size bet will still give you pot odds on calling. For instance, if the blinds were $50/$100 then the pot, pre flop was $1800. Any bet post-flop at ~$300 or less will give you decent pot odds to call. The two clubs are worrisome and may alter your strategy somewhat

What are the blinds? Becasue in a $1-$2 game, 3x the blind is not even a big enough bet. A 9-7 offsuit will call 6 bucks.
If you want to get less than 6 callers you need to bet at least $12-$15 bucks pre-flop to get the number of players down to at the worst 3. So lets say thats the deal, becasue that's more common at a real table-- I would make a bet half-the size of the pot, hoping the othere players will put me on A-Q. if someone calls, then I have a better idea of where they are at. If they raise me 3x my bet, then I fold. If they only raise me 2x times my bet, then I've been invited to call (pot odds) and if I hit my ten then I make $$$, or at least chop. The I see how my "turns" out. If I hit nothing on 4th street, then I check and see wher things go from there. |
