The player has to look out for himself. Which is worse?
1. Announcing your retirement early, and then thinking "ah what the heck" and coming back after the Chiefs take a 1st or 2nd round tackle, when we REALLY needed defensive help. 2. Announcing right before training camp that you're just not up to the task, and you're going to retire. |
