If I pay $2000 more than the dealer would have accepted I wasted that money. I may as well have flushed it down the toilet. My job is to minimize that waste. The salesman's job is to try and maximize that. Therefore, we are at odds. If you are friends with your customers and make them feel good that's wonderful.
